This vast estate stretching across the Pennines to the Lancashire border contains wildlife conservation areas of special scientific interest. It also has sites of historical importance with remains from Roman to early industrial times. With many and varied walks to suit all tastes and abilities, the local National Trust office (at Marsden train station) also hosts many different walks and events on the estate right throughout the year.
